Posted July 08, 2019 10:06:25As a woman-only college, Michigan State University (MSU) offers more scholarships to men than any other college in the state.
MSU will offer $30 million in scholarships to graduating seniors from all fields and majors.
It also provides a full-tuition scholarship for all undergraduate students to women- and gender-specific colleges, as well as full scholarships for graduate students.
According to the state Department of Education, the scholarships will be awarded in six phases.
First phase will be in the fall of 2019.
Second phase will begin in 2019 and end in 2020.
Third phase will start in 2021 and end by the end of 2021.
Fourth phase will kick off in 2022 and end at the end.
The fourth phase will also include the awards to women and gender specific colleges.
The awards will be based on the gender of the students.
The number of awards will depend on the number of students in each phase.
The state also announced that it will be partnering with several local organizations to help facilitate the program.
It will be a joint effort with the Michigan Student Women’s Center and the Michigan Men’s Resource Center.
It is expected to cost about $300,000.
