Colleges with a strong disability presence should be attractive places for students seeking a college degree, according to a new report.
The scholarship site Scholarships for College is highlighting a list of schools with disabilities, including Stanford University, which has over 400,000 alumni.
The report is based on a survey of 1,000 students who graduated in the 2019-2020 school year and 1,600 graduates of the same class who were in college last year.
The survey also includes students who had disabilities in the past year.
The survey shows that Stanford, MIT, Stanford University Medical Center and the University of Southern California were among the best schools for students who have disabilities.
Stanford has an annual graduation rate of 87 percent, and the school has over 1,500 alumni who were admitted last year, according the report.
MIT has a 90 percent graduation rate, and it has over 300,000 graduates.MIT students with a disability are more likely to be male than non-disabled students.
Stanford’s male students are 20 percent more likely than non
